Andrea Levy's The Long Song: Another view (for Caribbean readers, perhaps)

My idea for a discourteous book may be as silly as some book ideas I've (and you have) ever come across, but in this Caribbean Review of Books review of Andrea Levy's The Long Song, I argue that it is a discourteous book with important insight about the period and place in which it is set (19th century Jamaica), and deserves a place of honor among Caribbean historical fiction.
