This list of Guyanese poets is by no means complete. I'm still soliciting your help in adding names to it. In addition to the names of poets who have published collections that are available for us to purchase and read, I'd also like the names of those I consider "working" poets. By that I mean the poets who may not have published collections, but who regularly (or irregularly) read for live audiences. Some of them may be working on getting published, and some may be subscribers to the school of thought that poetry should be spoken, not written. Whatever the case, if you know of any "working" Guyanese poet, please send me his or her name to be added to the list as well.
