Man said "man out working hard & come home before he get food he see he woman out in de st wearin sht skt and such like . . . dis ting is a 50/50 ting, women causing dis ting pon demself"...
Newsguyana: Backer -SHOCKINGLY- agrees w/ caller but says cant take law into own hands...
Signifyinguyana: I wonder how many men in Guyana secretly believe that "under the rock" theory about domestic violence . . . Wonder how many of the men prancing about in high heel shoes (empathizing) secretly believe the problem is the shoes.
Newsguyana: From the evidence of the increasing domestic violence deaths it'd have to be quite a few. Caller man was literally justifying why men were beating up on women and chastising panel for not stating as much. THEN Debbie agreed! IDIOT!
Signifyinguyana: Backer is an idiot. I feel a post coming on . . . Backer may be an idiot, but I still think the men who think like the caller (secretly or otherwise) are the major problem.
[Further comment: I believe many Guyanese men (and others outside of Guyana too) share the caller's belief about the reasons behind domestic violence. And as to women like Backer....]
