Guidelines for a professional looking short story submission

Not picking.  Well, not reeeaaally.  Anyway, here are some guidelines for how to make your story submission to the competition look professional.  And rest assured, you can use them for short story submissions elsewhere as well.  They work for most journals.  (Don't worry, it's not scholarly and densely written; it's quite a fun read.)
